Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts degree required.
• Interpreter credential (ITP/EIPA 3.0 or NIC) required.
• One (1) year of experience interpreting in Deaf/HH community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately signs and fingerspells key vocabulary.
• Provide voicing for Deaf/HH students.
• Tutor under teacher supervision to support comprehension.
• Prepare and review materials in advance with main instructor.
• Collaborate with Teacher for the Deaf/HH on student progress.
• Coordinate interpreting and tutoring approaches.
• Provide interpreting for extracurricular activities and meetings.
• Manage environmental/visual needs to support accessibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school principal.
