Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated ASL Interpreter for a school-based contract in the Minneapolis area. You will work on-site with educators and students to foster an inclusive learning environment, interpreting across classrooms and activities.

Qualified candidates will have RID/NIC or NAD IV/V or EIPA 4.0+ and prior educational interpreting experience. The role emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, and adapting to different grade levels.

Qualifications

• This role requires RID/NIC/NAD or EIPA 4.0+ certification or equivalent passing score.
• Experience interpreting in K-12 educational settings is essential.
• Strong ASL and ability to bridge communication among students, teachers, staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in classrooms.
• Support participation in instructional and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team to meet student needs.
