Mercy in Missouri is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered therapy across acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care settings. The role requires licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to schedule visits and coordinate care efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and documentation skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently while adapting to changing conditions and emergencies.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license to practice OT and valid driver's license.
• Minimum one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.
• CPR certification.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, communication and documentation skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and handling emergencies independently.
• Two years of acute care or home care experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Independently schedule patient visits and coordinate with the office daily.
• Deliver therapy and monitor patient progress with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Adapt to changing conditions, take initiative and meet challenging objectives.
