Job summary

Prince William County is seeking a Housing Program Analyst to manage a caseload of HCV participants, determine eligibility, and calculate rents, incomes, and deductions. The role supports SRAP and PSH programs and requires strong communication with participants and landlords.

The position offers telework options and a comprehensive benefits package, with a standard 37.5 hour week, and a salary range of $65,910.00–$87,812.00 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; 4 years of related Housing Choice Voucher Program experience preferred.
• Experience with HCV, SRAP, and related housing programs; ability to certify eligibility and calculate rent and deductions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of HCV participants and determine program eligibility.
• Interview and certify eligibility at initial intake and recertification for SRAP and PSH.
• Calculate household income, assets, allowable expenses, family size, and rent due to landlords.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders; assist participants and landlords.
• Process housing assistance and tenant rent payments; manage end-of-lease procedures and certifications.
• Conduct tenant certification meetings and respond to emails/phone inquiries.
