Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4 years of experience in Housing Choice Voucher programs.

Responsibilities

• Interview and certify eligibility for initial intake and recertification.
• Calculate eligibility based on household income, assets, deductions, and family size.
• Communicate with agency staff, HCV participants, and landlords effectively (oral & written).
• Develop partnerships with internal and external partners to remove barriers to success.
• Assist rental families in securing housing options in the private market.
• Process housing assistance and tenant rent payments.
• Manage multiple caseloads with end-of-lease, annual/interim certifications, and new moves.
• Conduct tenant certification meetings and respond to emails/phone calls.
