Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. with 4 years of experience working with the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
• Experience determining eligibility for HCV and calculating rents, assets, and deductions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview and certify eligibility at initial intake and recertification.
• Calculate eligibility through household income, expenses, and assets.
• Negotiate with landlords and advise on rent calculations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and customer service with participants and agency staff.
• Develop partnerships with internal and external partners to remove barriers.
