Job summary

Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) seeks a Program Specialist I to provide case management for HCVP applicants and participants in Baltimore, MD. You will handle eligibility, move and recertification activities under HUD guidelines, maintaining accurate caseloads and reports while delivering clear information to clients and partners.

Under supervision, you will support multiple functions and may be reassigned to priorities. Strong customer service and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or social service-related field.
• Experience with HUD guidelines and housing programs is a plus.
• Strong customer service and mathematical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform case management and eligibility determinations for HCVP applicants and participants.
• Maintain caseload, data entry, and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate with clients, landlords, and agencies to provide information and guidance.
