Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Environmental Services Tech II to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing environment for patients, visitors, and staff in Cincinnati. You will perform floor care, room cleaning, carpet spot cleaning, and trash removal while following all safety and confidentiality policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of floor care experience, plus basic computer and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years’ experience including floor care required.
• Basic Reading, Writing, And Math Skills Required.
• Basic healthcare housekeeping customer service skills required.
• Use of floor equipment as defined in duties and responsibilities required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient safety.
• Clean patient rooms and discharges as required.
• Knowledge of ESI chemicals and procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Routine floor maintenance and operation of floor machines.
• Floor stripping and refinishing preparation and technique.
• Carpet spotting and cleaning using proper chemicals.
• Trash hauling following department procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain confidentiality per hospital policy and regulations.
• Basic computer tasks such as MS Office Outlook.
