Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Tech II to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment. You will perform routine floor care, carpet and trash handling, and assist with patient room cleaning and discharge sanitation while following safety protocols and confidentiality requirements.

Training includes use of floor machines, auto-scrubbers and burnishers, with emphasis on quality service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years' experience including floor care required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills essential.
• Basic healthcare housekeeping customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean, safe, sanitary and appealing environment.
• Maintain floors and use floor machines and cleaning equipment.
• Perform routine floor stripping and refinishing as trained.
• Handle trash disposal and ensure safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Maintain confidentiality and basic computer tasks as required.
