The Christ Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Tech II to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will clean patient rooms, assist with discharges, strip and refinish floors, spot clean carpets, haul trash, and follow safety and confidentiality policies while providing excellent service.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; two years’ floor care experience required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years' experience including floor care required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Use of floor equipment as defined in duties required.
• Knowledge of computers preferred, but not required.
• CHEST certification within 1 year preferred, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Clean patient rooms and assist with discharges as required.
• Routine floor maintenance and use of floor machines / auto-scrubbers.
• Floor stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, and edge/cove base work.
• Carpet spotting and cleaning; dispose of waste per policy.
• Trash hauling with proper PPE and safety procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety protocols.
• Basic computer tasks and MS Outlook for emails.
