Job summary

Housing Opportunities & Maintenance for the Elderly (H.O.M.E.) seeks an Upkeep & Repair Manager to lead its home repair program for south and west side seniors. You will supervise Home Repair Specialists and Assistants, perform complex assessments, develop scopes of work, estimate labor and materials, ensure quality, and coach staff on repair techniques and customer service.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of residential home repair, facilities maintenance, or construction experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade certification or equivalent preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Upkeep & Repair Program, supervising staff.
• Conduct on-site assessments, determine repair scope, labor, materials, and costs.
• Provide technical guidance on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and accessibility mods.
• Administer Jobber and coordinate repair requests and scheduling.
• Monitor workloads and ensure timely completion and safety of repairs.
• Develop policies, procedures, and workflows; track program performance.
