Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide professional home-based care. You will assess, plan, and implement SLP interventions, document outcomes, and coordinate with caregivers and insurers in California.

Requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and CA license. Home health experience and CPR/BLS are preferred. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• California Speech Language Pathologist license required (Vendor Managed).
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess SLP care needs after referral and perform history and physical.
• Document assessment data within 24 hours of home visit.
• Develop and update a written plan of care with measurable goals.
• Coordinate care, refer as indicated, and ensure Medicare/Medicaid documentation compliance.
• Provide safe, evidence-based SLP interventions in the home setting.
