Job summary

Compassus is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive home-based care. The role involves planning and delivering SLP interventions, documenting assessments, and coordinating with insurance providers to determine eligibility for services.

The clinician will develop holistic, measurable care plans and supervise aides as needed. In this position, you will work within a caring team, adhere to Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and ensure timely, efficient patient care

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent education/experience.
• Completes necessary education to attain Speech Therapy license in California.
• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication disorders, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Documents assessment data within 24 hours of home visit.
• Describes assessment & interprets data holistically (psychological, physiological, cognitive & medication regime).
• Communicates with insurance co or HMOs to determine eligibility for home care.
• Develops and supervises patient plan of care tailored to client goals.
• Performs and coordinates home visits in accordance with SHC guidelines.

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

California licensure within 30 days of hire
