Job summary

Compassus seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide professional home-based care for patients with communication disorders. You will assess, plan, implement, and document SLP services in accordance with plan of care and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, WA licensure, and within 30 days BLS and NPI. Prior home health exposure is preferred; salary range is competitive.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent education/experience
• WA: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License
• BLS - American Heart Association required within 30 days
• NPI number within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Assess SLP care needs after referral and perform history and physical
• Document assessment data within 24 hours of home visit
• Develop and update a patient care plan with measurable goals
• Coordinate care with insurance to determine eligibility and payment sources
• Deliver home health SLP interventions per plan of care and safety standards
