Job summary

Keller Home Care, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to deliver in-home occupational therapy, helping patients regain maximal physical function.

You will work under the supervising OT, adhere to state laws, and coordinate with families and care teams. Alabama requires 2+ years OT experience; a valid OTA license and a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• OTA licensure current in state of practice
• Requires driver’s license and reliable transportation
• AL state requires 2+ years OT experience

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy under supervising OT
• Follow plan of care and state laws governing OT practitioners
• Observe and document patient responses and changes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within scope
• Maintain ability to work in diverse home environments
