Job summary

Keller Home Care, part of the Optum family, seeks an Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem to provide home-based occupational therapy and help patients regain physical function. Per diem schedule and flexible hours support diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities include following the plan of care under supervision, educating families, and documenting patient progress while complying with state laws and facility policies. Strong AL licensure and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to a dependable vehicle.
• AL state requires 2+ years of OT experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and treatment plan as defined by supervising OT.
• Carry out plan of care and provide evidence-based therapy.
• Observe and report patient response to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and staff in therapy areas.
• Provide care in any home setting regardless of patient demographics.
