Job summary

Responsibilities

• Building leadership among the staff and with the administration to align vision and ownership of school work.
• Aligning instruction with the common core, essential standards, and 21st-century content including global awareness, financial literacy, and ICT literacy.
• Teaching revised core content to include critical thinking, problem-solving, and ICT literacy.
• Facilitating instruction using varied methods and integrating technology to support learning.
• Assessing student learning through diverse methods and promoting teamwork and leadership.
• Collaborating with families and significant adults to support students, including adaptations for special needs and fairness in the school community.
• Demonstrating ethical principles and standards of conduct as NC educators, and serving as a role model and team player.
