Job summary

Enrichment Services Program, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Teacher to cover Head Start classrooms in Hamilton, GA. You will implement daily lesson plans, supervise activities, and support regular staff in maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment for infants and toddlers.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of childcare experience; CDA or AA in ECE preferred. This is a seasonal, hourly position offering a meaningful role in early childhood development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate or AA in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Implements daily lesson plans and daily schedules.
• Organizes and maintains learning centers within the classroom.
• Maintains order using positive behavior management approaches.
• Recruits volunteers and solicits in-kind contributions.
• Attends meetings, trainings and workshops as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of classrooms and adjoining restrooms.
• Advocates for the Head Start program, families and children.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
