Job summary

Enrichment Services Program Incorporated in Georgia seeks a Substitute Teacher for the Early Head Start program to assume full teaching responsibilities in the lead’s absence and to support regular classroom staff with daily activities.

You will implement daily lesson plans and schedules, organize learning centers, and uphold positive behavior while assisting with volunteer recruitment and family advocacy. A HS diploma/GED is required; CDA or AA in ECE preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Preferred CDA certificate or AA in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily lesson plans and schedules.
• Organize and maintain learning centers within the classroom.
• Maintain order with positive behavior management.
• Recruit volunteers and solicit in-kind contributions.
• Attend meetings, trainings and workshops as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms and restrooms.
• Advocate for the Head Start program, families and children.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
