Job summary

Enrichment Services Program, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Teacher for Muscogee Child Development Center in Columbus, GA.

The role covers the full duties of the Teacher in their absence and supports regular staff in maintaining classroom activities and schedules. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of experience with infants and toddlers; CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma and/or GED and at least one year experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Current CDA or AA in ECE required or preferred as noted.

Responsibilities

• Implements daily lesson plans and daily schedules.
• Organizes and maintains learning centers within the classroom.
• Maintains order using positive behavior management strategies.
• Recruits volunteers and solicits in-kind contributions.
• Attends meetings, trainings and workshops as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of classrooms and restrooms.
• Advocates for the Head Start Program, families and children.

Education
