Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive wound care for residents in skilled nursing facilities. The role involves prescribing medications per Arkansas law, ordering and reviewing treatments, and collaborating with the facility team.

Ideal candidates hold an AR NP license with board certification and have experience in wound care, including chronic and infected wounds. Familiarity with EMR and DME is preferred; DEA licensure is optional.

Qualifications

• Active AR NP license and board certification are required for practice.
• Experience with wound care in long-term care settings is essential.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and wound care protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services for long-term care patients.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances per AR law.
• Order and review treatments and diagnostic tests; adjust care plans as needed.
• Communicate with nursing home staff about patient condition changes.
• Collaborate with the primary care physician and care team.
