Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across Outlet, Salvage, and Distribution/Warehouse functions. This role drives staffing, safety, workflow planning, and customer experience while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

The General Manager will manage daily staffing, training, and performance, ensuring safe, organized, and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Must have proven leadership experience in multi-function site operations.
• Experience driving staffing, safety, and productivity in a high-volume environment.
• Strong ability to analyze KPIs and adjust operations accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift execution across outlet, salvage, and distribution/warehouse functions to meet safety, service, throughput, and quality expectations.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate plans into on-the-floor action.
• Use sales trends and incident data to adjust staffing and tactics for site performance.
• Maintain on-site presence, coach in real time, and model pace and ownership.
• Oversee salvage and distribution execution including receiving, staging, and outbound readiness.
• Ensure clear communication with Transportation, Facilities, People Services, Finance, and Retail/Field teams.
• Lead regular operating rhythms, safety moments, KPI reviews, and shift handoffs.
