Job summary

Enbridge is seeking an engineer to apply hydraulic models and engineering tools to forecast daily gas capacities across U.S. systems, support outages, and optimize flow while balancing safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with Capacity Planning and other teams to translate model results into actionable recommendations, drive asset optimization, and assist with storage expansion and project execution.

This role involves limited travel (<5%), a hybrid work model, and a strong emphasis on safety, integrity, and compliance across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of oil and gas pipeline experience with a relevant engineering degree.
• Understanding of natural gas pipeline systems and safety/compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Apply hydraulic models to forecast daily pipeline capacities.
• Monitor capacity changes during outages and optimize schedules.
• Analyze operating parameters to optimize gas flow and support outages.
• Communicate modeling results via reports and presentations.
• Support asset optimization and capital project initiatives.
• Assist with storage expansion, debottlenecking, and project execution.
