Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering across Liquids Pipelines projects in the U.S. and Canada. The role guides design, equipment selection, reliability improvements, and engineering solutions to support safe, reliable operations of Enbridge assets.

You will mentor engineers, review designs, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize cost and performance while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of oil and gas industry experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada; US PE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas pipeline/construction and regulatory codes.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance across teams.
• Proficient with MS Office tools and design documentation

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary mechanical engineering contact for projects, ensuring standards alignment.
• Review and audit project designs for compliance and completeness.
• Lead or support in‑house projects and produce design docs, drawings, and calculations.
• Apply mechanical engineering skills across the project lifecycle.
• Identify design improvements to enhance cost competitiveness and efficiency.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to developing engineers
