Job summary
Enbridge Inc. in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead technical decisions and support the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the gas transmission system.
You will work with field and regional teams to identify risks and develop practical solutions. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 7+ years in pipeline or oil and gas, with working knowledge of CFR 192, industry codes, and pipeline integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 7+ years of engineering experience in pipeline/oil and gas.
- Understanding of CFR 192 and applicable industry codes/standards.
- Experience with natural gas design, pipeline integrity, reliability, or operational engineering.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to field teams and identify opportunities to improve processes and operations.
- Apply CFR 192 and industry standards to support engineering decisions, materials testing, and safe operations.
- Review projects, pipeline crossings, and gas-handling plans to manage risk and protect integrity.
- Support project scope, budgeting, audits, documentation, and information requests; share expertise across regions.
