Peak Physical Therapy is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team in Kennewick, WA. This full-time role supports the clinic's patient experience from first contact through visit, with a friendly, organized, and professional approach.

You will handle check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications while maintaining HIPAA standards. Training is provided and a clear growth path exists within the clinic network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Comfortable and confident communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn scheduling software.
• No prior medical experience required; comprehensive training provided including EMR navigation.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review and schedule referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps to patients.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect copays and payments accurately, with basic tracking or reconciliation as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all front desk interactions.
