Job summary

The Application Analyst in Wellstar Information Technology supports Epic and related clinical and revenue cycle applications across the Wellstar Health System, focusing on troubleshooting, design, testing and end-user optimization to improve care delivery. Required is a minimum of three years in healthcare IT with Epic and/or related build experience; Epic certification in two or more modules is required.

Preferred are project management experience and Lean certification, plus strong

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of healthcare IT experience, including Epic and related application builds.
Certification in two or more Epic modules or related apps required upon hire.
PM experience and Lean training preferred.

Responsibilities

Application Support & Maintenance: Deliver support to ensure efficient operation of assigned applications.
System Design, Build & Human-Centered Configuration: Configure Epic and third-party applications to meet evolving requirements.
Lead integration testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live readiness assessments.
Assist in validation and testing of EHR systems to support clinical workflows.
Collaborate with clinical staff to implement EHR enhancements and optimize workflows.
Participate in testing, upgrades and validation processes to ensure functionality and compliance.
Document EHR configuration changes and testing results for knowledge sharing.
