Rise-Services-LL in the United States (Virginia) is hiring an Employment Specialist to guide individuals with disabilities toward competitive employment. You will assess client needs, develop job readiness skills, and support placement and retention with ongoing coaching.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, experience with disabilities, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and within a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transport are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, or related field.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local labor market trends, job search strategies, and employment resources.
• Familiarity with disability rights laws, accommodations, and vocational rehabilitation services.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' skills, abilities, and employment goals.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized employment plans.
• Provide training on resume writing, interviewing techniques, and workplace etiquette.
• Conduct mock interviews and role-playing exercises.
• Assist clients in identifying suitable job opportunities and strategies.
• Facilitate job applications, resumes, and interview scheduling.
• Provide on-the-job support and coaching for successful integration.
• Track progress and document outcomes for reporting.
• Build relationships with employers and community organizations.
