RISE Services Group in the United States seeks an Employment Specialist to provide individualized support to individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment. You will help clients develop job readiness skills, identify opportunities, and support successful workplace integration in Woodbridge, VA.

The role emphasizes compassionate coaching, collaboration with employers, and ongoing progress monitoring, including resume writing, interview practice, and on-the-job coaching to help clients

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, or related field.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local labor market trends, job search strategies, and employment resources.
• Familiarity with disability rights laws, accommodations, and vocational rehabilitation services.

Mansioni

• Conduct client assessments to evaluate goals and abilities.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized employment plans based on strengths, interests, and needs.
• Provide job readiness training including resume writing and interviewing techniques.
• Conduct mock interviews and role-playing exercises to prepare clients for job interviews and workplace interactions.
• Assist clients in identifying suitable job opportunities based on skills and goals.
• Provide guidance on job search strategies, including networking, online job boards, and employment agencies.
• Facilitate the job application process and advocate for clients with employers.
• Provide on-the-job support and coaching to ensure successful integration and retention.
• Assist clients with learning job tasks and developing relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Track client progress and prepare reports on outcomes for stakeholders.
