Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract position supporting students across two local school sites near Minooka, IL from October through December 2026. The role emphasizes collaboration with schools, families, and educators to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.

A IL OT license is required; candidates with school-based experience are preferred and will engage in IEP meetings and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois occupational therapy licensure required.
• Experience in school-based OT or related settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff and families.
• Ability to tailor therapy to diverse student needs and manage a caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services to students across two school campuses.
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to meet educational and functional needs.
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
• Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor student outcomes.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and pull-out settings.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and goal setting.
• Adjust strategies to best serve evolving student requirements.
