Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for an onsite, full-time contract covering a FMLA leave from August 7, 2026, to October 15, 2026 near Algonquin, IL. Orientation is Aug 3–4 to prepare for the start of the school year.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, deliver resource and self-contained OT services, and support students as they transition back to daily activities. Housing benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
• Experience in a school setting preferred, especially with elementary and middle school populations.
• Comfortable providing therapy to diverse learners in both resource and self-contained classroom settings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to various educational needs and environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services onsite for grades K-8, per student IEPs.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and allied professionals.
• Participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions for ongoing collaboration.
• Document services and progress in a timely and compliant manner.
• Engage in annual performance reviews and process improvement initiatives.
