E-Therapy is hiring an onsite School Occupational Therapist (OTR) in Algonquin, IL for FMLA coverage from August to October. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, serving K-8 students and requiring an IL OT license and NBCOT certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Must hold valid IL state OT license.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with K-12 students.
• Experience in school/pediatric settings.
• Proficiency with assessment tools and pediatric techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff.
• Computer skills including email and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of sensory integration and related therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals with students, parents, and staff.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to address needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor and document progress toward goals, adjusting plans as needed.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to promote participation and success.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plan development.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
