Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support elementary students at a single school location near Algonquin, IL. The assignment runs fall semester with the possibility to extend and features a two-day-per-week schedule.

You'll collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff; conduct assessments; set goals; and document progress. This role emphasizes flexible, impactful work in a focused school setting.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the State of Illinois.
• Experience or enthusiasm for working in a school setting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to excel in a short-term contract role.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEPs.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and document student progress.
• Consult with educators and families to deliver strategies supporting student growth.
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse learner needs.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation for student records.
