Job summary

Ampact’s Early Learning Corps is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom in Miami, FL. You’ll deliver proven activities, coach students, and partner with a teacher to build early literacy and math skills.

You’ll gain training, participate in ongoing coaching, track progress in supporting learning, and contribute to a community-focused program that supports families and young children through AmeriCorps.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and ability to follow directions with willingness to grow.
• Proficient basic computer skills for email and online navigation.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
