Early Learning Corps in Florida is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students, helping them build early literacy and math skills through proven activities.

You will partner with a teacher in a classroom, provide focused attention, track progress with on-site coaching, and participate in training. Part- and full-time options exist; AmeriCorps stipends apply with education awards. This role emphasizes attendance and collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• Dependable and have a history of good attendance
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
• Able to successfully complete a background check

Responsibilities

• Support preschoolers with learning activities thoughout the day
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software
