Job summary
Columbia Gorge Community College is seeking an Early Learning Workforce Navigator to support growth and retention of the early learning workforce across multiple counties. You will connect child care providers with resources, navigate licensing processes, and coordinate targeted trainings.
The role emphasizes outreach, data maintenance for the FCCCO, and collaboration with CCP partners to strengthen services regionally.
Qualifications
- Two+ years of experience with common software applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, Zoom, Google Suite).
- Two+ years of experience supporting adults.
- Two+ years in an Early Childhood Care and Education setting or equivalent.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Knowledge of higher education systems and college navigation recommended.
- Two+ years collaborating with community partners.
- Two+ years in outreach and recruitment.
- Reliable transportation, driver's license and insurance.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and retain through community events and outreach to attract prospective child care business owners in the region.
- Assist licensing navigation and provide technical training and certification guidance.
- Coordinate trainings and professional development opportunities related to child care business operations.
- Maintain Find Child Care Oregon (FCCCO) database accuracy for the region.
