About Play, LLC in South Carolina is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to serve birth to six with developmental delays or disabilities. The role focuses on delivering family-centered services in homes, daycare, or natural environments, serving Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field with 1 year of experience working with children birth to six.
OR Bachelor’s degree in any field with 5 years of documented experience with infants/toddlers or children birth to 5 years with disabilities.

Aufgaben

Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
Perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare or natural environment.
Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
Develop and implement strategies to promote the development of the child.
Monitor the progress of the child and family.
