About Play, LLC seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to serve Beaufort, Colleton and Jasper counties in South Carolina. You will provide family-centered EI services to birth-to-five children with delays, offer home-based training, and support families in development and parenting.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of experience; willingness for on-the-job training and a valid driver's license are preferred. Full-time with benefits and travel within the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of experience with children birth to six.
- Prior early intervention experience preferred or willingness for on-the-job training.
- Must reside in South Carolina and be willing to travel within Beaufort, Colleton and Jasper counties.
Responsibilities
- Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with delays or disabilities.
- Perform family training with caregivers in home, daycare or natural environments.
- Educate and support families in child development, parenting and family functioning.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
- Monitor progress of child and family and adjust plans as needed.
