Job summary

About Play, LLC is seeking an Early Interventionist to deliver family-centered services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays across Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties in South Carolina. Must reside in South Carolina for consideration and have at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six.

Responsibilities include home visiting, caregiver training, and collaborating with families to promote development. Competitive benefits and travel reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field plus 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old.
• Must reside in South Carolina for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Perform family training with the caregiver and child in the home, daycare or natural environment setting.
• Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the development of the child.
• Monitor the progress of the child and family.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field
