Job summary

Hope Network / Loretta House in Michigan is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for part-time 3rd shift to help individuals build independence and participate in their community. The DSP supports daily living activities, monitors safety, assists in medical appointments, and helps implement care plans.

You’ll foster trust, encourage social engagement, and document care with accuracy. Required: high school diploma, valid Michigan driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Michigan driver’s license required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
CPR/First Aid certification required.
Shift availability includes weekends and holidays.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 in daily settings.
Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
Establish trust and empathy through clear communication.
