Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Loretta House in Lansing, MI to help individuals gain independence through personal care and community integration.

You will support daily living activities, mobility, health management, and social participation, with duties spanning transport, appointments, and strict documentation. This is a 2nd shift, part-time role offering meaningful impact and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Commitment to weekend and holiday shifts; strong computer basics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 with checks as needed.
• Assist in activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Document care plans and relay information to the care team.
• Assist with social and community participation and transportation.
• Attend medical appointments and communicate updates to providers.
