Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiographer to perform imaging procedures to support diagnostic needs at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. The role requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines, with focus on patient comfort and accurate image acquisition.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT and NJ RT licenses, and BLS certification. Experience with diverse imaging equipment and hospital settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
