Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging as directed by the Radiologist and to generate high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification. Experience preferred in hospital settings and with various imaging modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting and sanitization.
• Excellent patient communication and comfort management.
• Adhere to safety and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures following radiologist directions.
• Operates and maintains radiology equipment with proper safety measures.
• Obtains patient history and explains procedures.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and adjusts as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
