Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Washington to provide direct rehab care under an Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing setting.

The role requires NBCOT certification, active state licensure, ASOT education, and CPR certification; one year of experience is preferred. You will follow treatment plans, document progress, use therapy software, and collaborate with the care team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state; active license required.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
