Job summary

Exos is seeking a Performance Coach to join our corporate wellness team in San Diego. You will lead group exercise, deliver personalized training, and help clients reach health goals through tailored programs and engaging classes.

As part of a dynamic fitness environment, you will assess clients, design workouts, and support health-promotion initiatives. Excellent communication and client-relations skills are essential, with a commitment to safety and continuous development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field required.
• Current Personal Trainer certification from NASM/ACSM/NSCA/ACE required.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality and strong customer service.
• Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience; internship considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation to clients.
• Support incentive and health-promotion programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Assist with additional duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
