EXOS in a corporate wellness setting is seeking a Performance Coach to lead group exercise classes and provide personalized training. You will assess client fitness levels, design programs, and monitor safety while fostering engagement and motivation across a diverse client base.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, ability to build lasting client relationships, and collaboration with the wellness team to deliver high-quality programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• NASM/ACSM/NSCA/ACE certification preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Design effective workout programs for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation to support client goals.
• Assist with implementing incentive, health promotion, and specialty programs to boost engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Perform additional duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
