Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the listed organizations is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is preferred or required at certain Mercy Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community respectfully.
• Reviews and updates patient charts for upcoming visits, verifying diagnostic tests and records.
• Measures vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Performs clerical duties such as inventory checks, stock supplies, referrals tracking, and phone coverage.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly and supports other duties as assigned.
