Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Amberly Village Physicians team. The CMA works with the primary care physician to deliver quality patient care, review and update health records, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

You will greet patients, measure vitals, review charts, and handle clerical tasks while ensuring compliance with state guidelines. We value compassion, teamwork and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active medical assisting certification from approved bodies (CMA/RMA/CCMA/etc.); ABR-OE acceptable if MA certification not available.
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred; two years clerical in a physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying all diagnostic test results and records.
• Measure vital signs including pulse rate, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
