Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and 1 year of relevant social services experience.
• Child Welfare Certification: required upon completion of training.
• Background clearance screening letter required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by agency insurance carrier if using a company car.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff development opportunities and maintain child welfare certification.
• Collaborate with team and assist on cases within the unit.
• Maintain relationships with supervisory staff to guide activities during unusual circumstances.
• Coordinate with community resource providers and facilitate referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Establish and maintain relationships with children and families focusing on permanency and safety.
• Accurately complete case notes and enter into required data systems.
• Prepare for and attend court activities, including testimony and recommendations.
• Develop judicial reviews, assessments, and termination reports on time per policy.
