Job summary

Camelot Community Care is seeking a Child Welfare Case Manager in Labelle, FL. The role focuses on safeguarding and supporting children, through casework, court-related activities, and collaboration with families and community resources.

Applicants should have a 4-year degree in Social Work or related field, a Child Welfare Certification, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers a full-time schedule with flexible/non-traditional shifts and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and one year of relevant social services experience with children and families.
• Child Welfare Certification required; training and certification process to be completed.
• Background clearance screening letter required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by agency insurance if using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff development opportunities and maintains child welfare certification through ongoing training.
• Backs up team members and assists on cases as a cooperative unit member.
• Maintain relationships with supervisory staff, community resources, and families to support permanency and safety goals.
• Complete case notes accurately and on time; prepare for and attend court activities and provide recommendations to the court.
• Develop and complete judicial reviews, assessments, and reports as required; facilitate family contacts and home studies.
